It all started with a little blue persian who stole my heart, I
named him Max.
As a designer and illustrator, it was not uncommon that I worked long hours, on print work or web site designs andMax
was ever faithful waiting patiently by my feet as I typed away on
my computer.
At times I would ask Max
for his opinion on my designs, or just gripe to him when I hit a
brick wall, and he would purr or meow his thoughts to me. So XAMMAX
(mirror image of MAX) was born.
Max has since joined his friends
in the sky, but he did leave me four beautiful keepsakes, Leia,
Aurora
and Grace
(whom I fondly call XiXi) and Kurt.
My pride and joy, inspirations for my own little corner of the world
wide web.

Design
I spent a number of years in the design and publishing sector, designing
printed materials such as brochures, annual reports, books and managing
book series for a multi-national publishing
company. ILLUSTRATIONS
According to my mom, I have been doodling and drawing ever since
I could hold a pencil. I have done a number of illustrations
for the books I have designed, for magazines and my own personal
pleasure.
NEW
MEDIA (Web
Design Development)
All of us have been affected in some way or other by the introduction
of the Internet and the wide new exciting venues it gives us, both
in work and play. I started developing my skills for web
and digital media a few years back. I come from the old tradition
of pen and paper, so the transition was gradual and it has been
and still is an interesting learning experience.
I started and co-developed
the New Media Web Division in Ad.Wright Communications from 2001
to May 2004, taking the roles of business development, creative and account servicing for the new company. Currently I have left Ad.Wright Communications and I am now a full time freelance creative design
consultant. I provide design and illustration services for both print and web.
FUN
AND GAMES
As they say all work and no play makes "Jane" a dull girl,
not to mention very stressed too. I love travelling and I have been
rather lucky these few years to have had the opportunity to travel
to neighbouring countries such as Bali, KL, Bangkok and even as far as the USA, visiting New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and in Australia, I visited Melbourne, Alice Springs and more. In 2003, I made my first visit to Europe, namely to the Netherlands, visiting places like Rotterdam, Amsterdam and to France, Paris.
My weekends are spend with family and friends, various
church activities and the occasional "Makan" feast, we Singaporeans love so much and can't get enough of.
A few years back I was introduced to Angalon
a "mud" role playing game online, and now I am a regular
character in Angalon. I have met and made a few good friends while
killing dragons and slaying monsters in Realms of Angalon.
My Homeland : Singapore
For those who have never been to Singapore, it is a tiny little
island in Asia, south of the equator, just at the tip of Malaysia. The weather here is hot, hot, hot and hot. So if
you want to visit, get your sun glasses and sun screen
